Connect an AI assistant

Connect RecordKeeper to Claude

Ask Claude about your own health records — your medications, labs, appointments, and vitals — with you choosing exactly what it can see.

Set it up

  1. 1
    Open Connectors in Claude
In Claude on the web or in the desktop app, go to Settings → Connectors and choose Add custom connector.
  2. 2
    Add RecordKeeper
Name it RecordKeeper. For the server URL, paste:
    https://app.recordkeeperapp.com/v1/mcp
  3. 3
    Enter the client ID
Open Advanced settings. For OAuth Client ID, enter claude. Leave the client secret empty. Then choose Add.
  4. 4
    Connect and sign in
Choose Connect next to RecordKeeper. A RecordKeeper page opens. Sign in with your email code, as you always do.
  5. 5
    Choose what Claude can see
Every section is listed with a check box. Untick anything you want to keep out, then choose Allow. You're sent back to Claude, connected.
  6. 6
    Ask away
Try “What medications am I taking?”, “How has my blood pressure looked this month?”, or “What should I ask at my next appointment?”

What Claude can and can't do

You choose the sections
The sign-in page lists what the assistant asked for. Untick anything you'd rather keep out. It sees only what you leave on.
Read only
It can look things up and explain them. It can't add, change, or delete anything in your records.
Some things never leave
Visit transcripts, your safety plan, ID cards, your password vault, and anything you've marked Private are never offered to any assistant.
You can see every read
Settings → Integrations → Connected Apps shows each assistant, what it may read, and what it actually read in the last 30 days.
Disconnect in one tap
Tap Disconnect in Connected Apps and it's cut off immediately, whatever the assistant does on its side.
Part of RecordKeeper Plus
Connecting outside apps and assistants is included with Plus. Without it, the sign-in page offers an upgrade instead.

Once Claude reads something, it becomes part of your Claude conversation, which Anthropic's privacy policy covers, not ours. Claude explains and summarizes; it doesn't replace your clinician.
