Connect RecordKeeper to Meta Muse

Let Meta's Muse agent look things up in your own health records — with you choosing exactly which sections it can read.

Set it up

  1. 1
Add a custom connector in Muse
In Muse, go to Settings → Connectors and choose Add custom connector. Paste this address:
    https://app.recordkeeperapp.com/v1/mcp
  2. 2
    Or just ask Muse
In a chat with Muse, on the web, in the app, or in WhatsApp, send this message exactly:
Create a Custom Connector for a new remote MCP server, then connect to it:
    Name: RecordKeeper
    Transport: remote streamable HTTP
    URL: https://app.recordkeeperapp.com/v1/mcp
    Auth: OAuth
  3. 3
If Muse asks for a client ID
Enter meta-muse. Leave the client secret empty.
  4. 4
Sign in and choose what Muse can see
Muse opens a RecordKeeper page. Sign in with your email code, untick any sections you want to keep out, and choose Allow.
  5. 5
    Ask away
Try “What medications am I on?” or “Summarize my last three appointments.”

Muse is new and Meta is still changing how custom connectors look. If a screen doesn't match these steps, the details to enter stay the same: the address in step 1, and client ID meta-muse.

What Muse can and can't do

You choose the sections
The sign-in page lists what the assistant asked for. Untick anything you'd rather keep out. It sees only what you leave on.
Read only
It can look things up and explain them. It can't add, change, or delete anything in your records.
Some things never leave
Visit transcripts, your safety plan, ID cards, your password vault, and anything you've marked Private are never offered to any assistant.
You can see every read
Settings → Integrations → Connected Apps shows each assistant, what it may read, and what it actually read in the last 30 days.
Disconnect in one tap
Tap Disconnect in Connected Apps and it's cut off immediately, whatever the assistant does on its side.
Part of RecordKeeper Plus
Connecting outside apps and assistants is included with Plus. Without it, the sign-in page offers an upgrade instead.

Once Muse reads something, Meta's privacy policy covers it, not ours. Muse runs in Meta's cloud, not on your phone. Muse explains and summarizes; it doesn't replace your clinician.
