Consumer Health Data notice

About this notice

This notice describes how RecordKeeper collects, uses, and shares “consumer health data” as defined by applicable laws, including Washington’s My Health My Data Act. It supplements our main Privacy policy.

What consumer health data we collect

We only collect consumer health data that you choose to add to your account. This may include:

Conditions, diagnoses, medications, labs and imaging you save.

Vitals and health tracking, including data from Apple Health and connected devices.

Cycle, menopause, gender-affirming care, and other reproductive or sexual-health information you enter.

Appointments, visit notes, and documents you upload.

How we use it

We use your consumer health data solely to provide RecordKeeper to you — to store, organize, sync, and (when you ask) analyze your own records. We do not use it for advertising and we do not sell it.

Who we share it with

We do not sell consumer health data. We share it only:

With people or providers you explicitly choose to share with.

With vetted processors acting on our behalf under contract, only as needed to run the service.

Where required by law.

Your rights

You may, at any time:

Access and review the consumer health data we hold.

Withdraw consent to our collection or use of it.

Delete your consumer health data, or your entire account.

How to exercise your rights

Most controls are built right into the app — you can export or delete your data yourself. You can also email privacy@recordkeeperapp.com and we will respond within the timeframe the law requires.

Data retention

We keep your consumer health data only for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. When you delete it, we remove it from our active systems and from backups on a rolling schedule.
