The short version

RecordKeeper is built so that your health records belong to you. We collect as little as possible, we never sell your data, and we make money from an optional Plus upgrade — not from advertising. You can export or delete everything, yourself, at any time.

What we collect

We keep our footprint small:

Account basics — the email you use for magic-link sign-in.
The health information you choose to add — records, documents, vitals, notes and anything else you save.
Minimal technical logs needed to keep the service running securely and reliably.

How we use your information

We use your information only to provide RecordKeeper to you — to store and organize your records, sync them across your devices, and power features you ask for.

When you use the AI assistant, it works on your own records to answer your questions and generate recaps or reports. We do not use your health data to train advertising models, and we do not sell it.

What we never do

We never sell your personal or health data.
We never show you ads or embed third-party ad trackers.
We never share your records with anyone unless you explicitly choose to.

When information is shared

Your records are private by default (deny-by-default). Information is only shared when:

You choose to share part or all of your chart, by invite code or a secure provider link.
A vetted service provider processes data on our behalf under a strict contract, only as needed to run the app.
We are legally required to — in which case we aim to tell you unless prohibited.

Your controls

You are in charge of your data at all times.

Access and review everything RecordKeeper holds about you.
Export your full account whenever you like.
Delete individual records or your entire account, yourself.
Revoke any share you have granted, at any time.

How we protect it

Your records are encrypted in transit and at rest, and protected by passwordless sign-in plus optional passcode and Face ID. See our Security page for details.

Children

RecordKeeper is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your region), and we do not knowingly collect their data.
